Chicken fun continues today we've gathered our first egg! Matt went out to build little nest boxes for the hens and found an egg. The girls were so excited. Aurora can't wait to eat it!
That's so exciting! We've been getting a lot of eggs lately. Eggs from your own chickens taste so much better than eggs from the store. Let me know how yummy it is.

It is Clair, I noticed you follow my blog today and thought I would check out yours!:) It is so funny you just got some chickens because i just finished reading a book called "HOME TO ROOST" about raising chickens! We aren't allowed to have them in our complex otherwise I think we would be joining your adventures! Especially since I just found out that chickens kill scorpions! That is super wonderful here in the desert.
